World Cancer Day is an increadible initiative led by the Union for International Cancer Control. A three-year campaign (beginning in 2022), focuses on key themes under the overarching goal of Closing the Care Gap. In 2022, the emphasis was on understanding and recognising inequities in cancer care. In 2023, the call was to unite us together through our voices and actions. Building upon these themes, 2024 addresses the imperative to challenge those in power. Explore more about the themes here.
